Stephen and Tanya were a great husband-wife team from Texas who like to paddle with the 'gaters. A unique feature to this 16-foot Tripper is that the couple inscribed the coordinates to the location where they got engaged under the bow deck and they inscribed a description of what the coordinates meant under the stern deck. In addition, the couple brought cypress from their native home in Louisiana to use in the decks.

Stephen bravely wove the cane for his seats, asking Steve to construct the seats and ship them before the workshop so that work could get started on them early. Look at the photo on the right and you will see that a special seat was designed for the center. This seat will hold the couple's two young daughters as they travel along with mom and dad on their paddling adventures.
