This wonderful 16-foot Ranger-style canoe started as Christmas gift from Santa and a very generous wife/mother to her husband (Pete), sons, and brother. Note that the decks and yoke are made from mahogany that originally served as shelving built by Pete's father in Pete's boyhood home. This family of adventurers has an extensive history of paddling, and we are sure that this canoe will be with them through many a great expedition.

The family motto as inscribed in the canoe is:
"Our Team: The hull is stronger than the sum of its parts."
