This beautiful 17-foot Tripper was meticulously put together by a father-son team. This was a musical experience for all of us as the team brought along their own selection of tunes to play in the background. Both Robin and Scott have a lot of canoeing experience in the Boundary Waters and beyond, and they built a canoe to take them to many new wild places.

This team generated a whimsical yet sophisticated design when planking their canoe. The woodstrips' striping turned out to be quicker than the eye, and you really had to study the canoe to understand where each strip began and ended. Quite a unique canoe, if we may say so ourselves!

Robin designed artwork to decorate both sides of the outer hull. Look for the flying loons when out on your next trip ... you never know who may be nearby!
